Our ceremony and reception are both in Naxxar, in the north of Malta — a small island, so most areas are within a 20–40 minute drive.

Getting Here

  • Fly into Malta International Airport (MLA), ~25–35 mins from Naxxar
  • Direct flights from Dublin take around 3h 45m, with a daily service to Malta
  • Malta is in the EU/Schengen Area — check entry requirements for your nationality ahead of travel
  • Malta drives on the left, same as Ireland; car hire or Bolt both work well for getting around
  • No adapter needed — Malta uses the same three-pin plug sockets as Ireland and the UK
Dress Code

Formal Attire

Garden formal, please — elegant but breathable for a warm evening outdoors. Expect 22–24°C by day, cooling to 16–18°C in the evening — sunshine is likely with little chance of rain, so bring a light layer for after dark.

For Him

  • Gentlemen are requested to wear a suit and tie
  • Black tie is reserved for the wedding party

For Her

  • Ladies are requested to wear formal dresses or elegant evening attire
  • Shoulders must be covered for the church ceremony — a light shawl or wrap works well
  • Please avoid very short skirts for the ceremony, in keeping with the church’s dress code

Frequently Asked Questions

Please RSVP by 31st January 2027 so we can finalise numbers with our venue.
We’d love for everyone to join us in Naxxar for the ceremony, and kindly ask guests to arrange their own transport to the Parish Church of the Nativity of Mary, Naxxar. For your convenience, return transport will be available from Palazzo Parisio, with one coach departing earlier in the evening and a final coach at approximately 1:00am when the celebrations conclude.
Not at all — the church in Naxxar and Palazzo Parisio are right next door, less than 100 metres apart, so guests can walk between venues with ease.
Direct flights from Dublin to Malta take around 3 hours 45 minutes, with a daily service to and from Malta.
Expect pleasant temperatures of around 22–24°C during the day and 16–18°C in the evening, with a good chance of sunshine and very little rainfall, if any.
The local currency is the Euro (€).
Most locals speak good English, as it’s an official language alongside Maltese.
No — Malta uses the traditional three-pin socket, the same as Ireland.
